I have also updated my Player/Group/Target/Casting Window to include the new animations in the Player and Target windows. You still don't see the windows like before; however, this does stop the UIerrors.txt file from registering errors about the missing animations. The files modified were EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml and EQUI_TargetWindow.xml.

Hehe.. anyway, some changes have occured to the website. Most notably, the Guild Vault has been moved to an area that only members have access to. Really something that should have been done a long time ago. If you are a guild member, you must be logged into the website with your username and password to gain entry (I am not talking about your EZBoard account). I say whip it! Whip it good! Oh sorry, it's that 80's music I am listening to hehe. If you have forgotten your username and password, send me an email with your character's name. If you wanna ride, don't ride the white horse.
Also, the member's only forums have been reset. Everyone that hasn't already will need to post here to regain access to the forums. If you wanna be rich, you got to be a ... If you wanna ride, ride the white pony.
Ok.. sorry to put you all through my singing hehe. Hmmm... (looks at the daily.. er semi-annual picture).. think that needs to be changed. LOL. Actually I do have one from Droga last night where I was with Laeoan, Enchantinone, Akuji, Kojon, and Kingbeast.. enjoyed myself. Rock.. steady, steady rocking all night long. *HUGS* - Mysstie :)

For those going on the CoM Raid tonight that Juror is leading, please view this thread for group postings. Also, a reminder that I'll be trying for Faydedar tomorrow at 7pm Central (maybe earlier if the situation warrants) provided things go my way :).
I have re-programmed how I am getting the status of the Quellious server and the Everlore news links. They now have a timeout factor. If it takes more than a certain amount of time to get the information (which could happen if say Everlore was down or just really slow) it will cause a timeout and stop waiting to get the information and state that it timed out. This should solve the problem of this page taking forever to display sometimes. Thank Kuadine's complaint to me that the main page took forever for her for this and the change in how the newest members list is made hehe. *HUGS* - Mysstie
Happy New Year everyone! :) Hope everyone had a great Christmas and got to spend some time with family and friends and got some nice loot as well. Since I missed it, if anyone has any PICs from Atana's Faydedar raid, please send them to me. Speaking of which, congrats on getting that Leaf Blower sis!! Wish I could of been there. The Guild Vault has been updated a couple times recently that include donations from the CoV raids that Tashin has lead I believe, Wyndsinger, and the raid on Chardok last Friday for Octaviouss. By the way, congratulations to Octaviouss on getting her Epic! Thanks to all those that helped, including our friends and allies. Some pictures can be found here. Also, thank you to those who have donated items. I many times don't know the original source as Atana seems to collect them at times.
As a reminder, this Friday and Saturday is an Epic Assistance raid in Kedge Keep to help Tinian and others get pieces they need. See this thread for information and if you'll be able to help, especially if you know your way around Kedge well.
As you can tell on the right tonight is CoV's Umbral Plains Raid. I have also added Wyndsinger's Story to our Library for permanent storage. Also, (hmmm I got side-tracked.. what was I going to say?). Anyway, if you look on the right under Recent Changes, you'll see a list of our newest members. This is an automatically generated list based on the membership data. I am still tweaking it.. well.. maybe.. depends when you read this LOL. I am also playing around with the layout of this as well. *HUGS*
Ohh.. where to start. Well, I guess first off, it seems the Umbral Plains raid that we did yesterday went pretty well. For more on that, read this. Also, on the 20th we had a Guild Meeting with around 30 in attendance, more than I had expected . You can read the colorful log of the meeting here (You do have to be logged in to the website in order to view it.) For any comments about the meeting, please post here. We have also received several donation recently and the Guild Vault has been updated accordingly! Thank you to all those who have donated!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Trick or Treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! Uh oh.. it's 3:30am and I am messing with the website.. time sure flies when I am messing around with this stuff. One thing.. I don't know if everyone was aware, but the multi-colored upcoming events there on the right and on the Calendar itself are actual links you can click on to go the Sign-Up/Information thread for that event on whatever message board it may be on. When you click on the link it will spawn a new webpage.
The Guild Vault has had some fall cleaning performed on it to make some room. I would like to thank Viron and others (Viron gave them to me, I know he wasn't the only one at that raid) for the recent spell additions to the vault. :)
Right now I am deciding the fate of the CoV HyperChat Server. The main reason for me getting HyperChat in the first place was to have a logging feature for meetings. At the time you could not log the EQ Chatrooms. Well, now you can and any future meetings will probably be held in an EQ Chatroom. Also, some folks have problems running HyperChat. The only time I usually start the server now is when I know EQ is down for a patch or something.. and maybe that is reason enough to keep it around.
One last thing, Brubell and Necratis Elderwolf have been in the guild exactly one month (both joined around September 3rd) and have been promoted to full membership! :) - *HUGS* Mysstie

Follow-up... well, it seems as if the date strings I've saved over time are in a couple different formats and as such will take a bit more work for me to convert them all into a standard numerical format that will allow for sorting and so on. So it will be later tonight or tomorrow sometime before it's working again. As a reminder, look to your right for stuff going on today. :)

I have also made updates to the March and April Calendars as well as posting a couple pics of Viron and Selinaa's Wedding during the Faydedar raid which unfortunately did not happen because a mob did not spawn two hours after it should have. Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!! :) For those traveling, may your travels be safe. Hope everyone gets all the phat lewt under the Christmas Tree they want hehe. I will be spending the holiday with my parents and real life sister who is also coming down, as such I will be away from Norrath from Saturday morning till possibly all the way through New Years Day. Kinda depends how long my sister is staying and other things.. I don't really know for sure yet LOL. Anyway, as such the website will not see any updates during this time either.

First I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! Anyone traveling to visit friends and family, may your travels be safe. Myself, I will be going to visit my folks for the Holidays tomorrow night after I get off work so I'll be there for all the good eats on Turkey day hehe.. I will be with them through Monday morning and as such I will not be in Norrath or making any updates to the website during that time. Also, I am aware of problems with the website with the clock, counter, membership page and other things not working. I have notified the web hosting company of these problems. Numerous customers have been calling in similar problems and the system admins have been notified, so, hopefully they will be resolved soon.

I have also added a new link to an EQ music video of sorts in the Library. Throughout the day I will also be modifying the Calendar quite a bit. It has some things on it that have been cancelled and some that aren't listed and some with the wrong times. Once I've got everything corrected, will let you know here. - Mysstie :)
Cont.. okay I have updated our Calendar. You will notice I have included links to Healers United's events with a nifty icon to distingush them. Healers United has been very helpful in providing assitance on our raids and events. Let's help them out too!. As of late, the alliance has had the appearance of being somewhat lopsided. Healers United members have helped us with many of ours and let's try and show like support. This was of course unintentional, and some may have not even been aware that we were welcome at their events or that they even had anything going on. I will do a better job in informing our members which events we are welcome to. :) I've spoken with Dahlea and made an apology to them; although, she said none was needed and that no wrong had been done. For those interested, read this. For those in CoV that do not know.. HU and CoV have a long history together. Many HU member's have their non-healing characters in CoV. There are also many friendships between our guilds. Also, if you've looked at mine and Soulduster's wedding pictures, you'll notice Healers United next to my name. Anyway, here's to having fun together! I need to kill more giants! hehe *hugs* - Mysstie :)

I am still working on these scripts as I am thinking of adding an image description field to the form and have automatically update a gallery type webpage. Anyway, as it stands it will let you upload images for use in the message board and what not. Try to it out, go to the image uploader.
Also, as a reminder, our Raid on Dalnir will be Tuesday, January 23rd, at 8pm CST. Please see the message board for more information! :)
We will also have a guild wide meeting soon as well. This particular one will be held out-of-game in an EQ Chatroom on the chat server. There could be alot of discussion and chit chat at this one and I think it will qo quicker out-of-game. Sometimes, in-game, does not lend itself well to chatting. We will talk about some things discussed in the officer's meetings (guild structure, recruitment, officership, etc.) as I value everyone's input as do the other officers and members. The difficulty I am facing is some things will be added to the charter that were not there before and as such, I want to make sure it is okay with everyone who is currently a member.
I still want to schedule a face-to-face in game one as well. :)
I am proud to be a member of Company of Valor and deeply honored and privaledged to be the leader of such a fine band of noble adventurers. I and the rest of Company of Valor are honored to have you, whoever is reading this, as a member as well. If you ever have any questions, thoughts, ideas, concerns, feel free to let me/us know. I think Company of Valor is great! Many great, nice, honorable people are in it. Together we can make Company of Valor one of the best guilds in Norrath. :) Like any journey, there will be a few lavapits along the way, but together, as a team, we will go around, levitate over, or heal our wounds on the other side and continue on, being stronger, for having experienced it.

I have also scheduled an officer meeting for Wednesday, Dec 13th at 9pm Central. (ps. I know I can't win no matter what day/time I pick as there will always be someone I'd like to be able to make it who can't).
Please read the charter concerning raid loot distribution rules that I just added. These are currently tentative but something had to be in place before the raid.
Due to the recent patches and servers going up and down for maintenace, if things are too unpredictable on Saturday or I am not able to learn the zone well enough between now and then due to the servers not cooperating then it may be rescheduled. I know how to get to some places, but Mistmoore is one of those places where I go only where I need, get what I need, and evac out.. LOL. Anyway, hopefully, we will be okay and have alot of fun =). - Mysstie :) Hmmmm.. maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that.. don't want to scare everyone away LOL.
I was able to get it to work right with IE 4.01 after downloading IE 4.01 Service Pack 2 and the Updated Windows Virtual Machine in which the description said it would run Java more Efficiently and Reliably. I did this through the Windows Update feature in Windows 98.
July 31, 2000 - October 30, 2000
Apparently, some have tried to send me email which as bounced back to them. Well, the email link at the bottom of this page was messed up.. DOH!. I fixed it hehe. I even tested it and it works fine now. :) The charter has been revised as a result of issues discussed. Everyone please read the new one. Given the restlessness of the troops, it was decided to have officer only meetings at a separate time from the general meeting. Depending on the nature of the officer only meeting, it may be held in-game or out of game in a chat room on the EQ Chat Server. I prefer in-game ones if possible just to be able to see everyone :) ; however, some may be more efficiently held out of game.
A minimum level to join the guild has now been set to the 10th season. Please see the newly revised charter concerning joining Company of Valor.
The minimum level needed to become an officer has been set to the 20th season. However, other factors other than simply being 20th level apply. As always, the guild leader can evaluate any special circumstances which may arise regarding this restriction.
More for a convenience factor and a more centralized location, the meeting spot has been moved to Misty Thicket/Rivervale. Besides, I kinda like the similarity there with my name hehe :) . Karrie and the guild vault have thus been air lifted to Rivervale.
Raid Results: Well, it was a great success I think and alot of fun. Not bad for our first real raid of someplace (we finally had the numbers in guild to really do one). While no BS Tunics or Dwarven Work Boots were coughed up by the stingy undead, several nice items were had. By the way, having fun with friends and being together is the most important part, not getting this or that item (but yes that is a plus hehe). My apologies if I forget someone, but I would like to thank Soulduster, Atana, Jinnikinic, Kits, Chedar, Kaeran, Lalloran, Wayland, and Wargurine all for coming.
I also want to thank the following two outside our guild, Oranno and Auburn, for coming to help us out as well. Oranno was a great help in showing me around and helping to break up and hold the rooms when we first got there. (I arrived early to get familiar with the zone). I would also like to thank Helenic, a wonderful Cleric, for rezzing Lalloran and Kaeran. :/ *sigh* I still feel bad about that.
The guild vault has some additional items in it now as a result of the raid and meeting. Thanks to Wargurine and Jinnikinc for donating items and anyone else I may have forgot. :)
The Raid on Unrest has been moved to Sunday, October 29th at 7pm due to the Wedding occuring on Saturday. Was going to move the raid to Saturday the 21st, but Healers United is raiding it then hehe. I may be going to there to help them out with their raid and I'm sure others in our guild are welcome to help out.
Also added as some new members: Persyphone, Cerridwen, Chikatilo, and Kaeran. Please check the membership page and correct anything that needs to be. Everyone please welcome and make them feel at home. - Mysstie :)
I am also thinking of making a "Hall of Valor" or something like that page that lists the members of Company of Valor who have made the ulimate sacriface and are no longer with us in Norrath or are otherwise missing in action and searches for them have failed. - Mysstie :)
The high-levels in Elta's old guild came back from their hiatus with Diablo2 and they wanted her back hehe. I told her I didn't mind and understood as we really do not have any other members of her level. Her other character is still in our guild, however. :) I've known her for a long time and there's no hard feelings here, we're still good friends. She is also still willing to help anyway she can. - Mysstie :)
After speaking in-game with a few members, I think we will shoot for a Guild Raid on Solusek's Eye aka SolA this coming Friday Evening, July 28th starting at 7pm Pacific, 8pm Mountain, 9pm Central, 10pm Eastern. The Meeting on Wednesday is still on. Decided on Friday for the raid because I know Axium can't make it on Wednesday. If Saturday during the day sometime is better for more people, let me know! - Mysstie :)
